Prologue

 

Under the sky and heaven, there was nothing that couldn’t be achieved. There was nothing that was impossible. Humans only needed time before they could conquer everything: killing demons, trampling gods, and leading the three realms – god’s realm, demon’s realm, and human’s realm.

– In an unknown time and space –

An old man with deep wrinkles in all over his face was laughing hysterically. His eyes shone brightly as a spectacular display of millions of colorful lights danced in front of him. His tears brimmed over and fell on his cheek. “After a hundred years of sweat and blood! I finally achieved what I lived for.”

“I am right,” he murmured softly. “All living things are controlled by karma. Every one of them is tied by karma and will be its slave even after their death!”

Years ago, using millions of modern machines coupled with his unusually great intelligence, he succeeded in capturing his thread of karma. He also succeeded in following his thread to the highest dimension –  the dimension of karma. It was where the fates of gods, demons, humans and all living things were being controlled.

The old man suddenly felt to his knees and choked up some blood. He was already so old. His body started to tremble. His body couldn’t follow his will anymore. A drop of tear rolled down his face. “Ye Xiu… I did it… I will find you soon…”

My body, please be under my command for a little longer, I will let you sleep as much as you want later. Please, just a little longer…

Squashing all his might and endure the pain of his old bone, somehow he managed to raise himself to his feet. His eyes shone at the dancing light. He had spent all of his lifetime on these experiments, only for one purpose:

To steal the Book of Karma that records everything under the heavens.

In his spacious laboratory, millions of machines were processing in a paralleled fashion. The uncontrollable light and energy ran amok, causing sparks to fly everywhere. In the core of the violent energy was an illusion of one book. The Illusionary book shook violently, trying to break through the shield energy wrapping around it tightly. The book was trapped inside for a few minutes before it started to solidify.

The old man forced himself to hurry after the book then he grabbed it tightly. His hands were trembling hard. At the same time, the sky changed rapidly outside the laboratory’s building. In a radius of 50 kilometers from the laboratory, gigantic dark clouds emerged, followed by thousands of lightning bolts flashing brutally from cloud to cloud. All of them were racing towards one direction – the sky immediately above the laboratory’s building. Then, thousands of lightning bolts suddenly combined into one of the largest bolt ever existed. Its color transformed in to a rainbow color before shooting at the Book of Karma with a deafening roar.

Heaven would never allow something like that to be born.

The old man knew it. He rushed to open the Book of Karma and shouted at the same time, “Take me to YE XIU!!!”

The gigantic lightning blasted the laboratory’s roof away in a millisecond, destroying everything on its path to the old man and the book. In the space of milliseconds, the opened Book of Karma dazzled with a bright light and sucked the old man into its pages which were like a space rift.

The old man felt himself flying into the wormhole of dimensions at bullet speed and hit multilayers of a very bright light. He flashed through billions of stars floating in a warm voided space. Suddenly, the lights, the stars, the movement and everything froze.

“Human! You broke the law! You are worthy of death of a thousand times. Since I am benevolent, I will spare you this time. But… Ehmm…” The voice was heard ringing around the voided space awesomely.

“Human! You must conquer all of the three realms! Conquer the human’s realm, god’s [Deva / Deity] realm, and demon’s [Asura] realm in 100 years! THEN, will I grant you your wish!” The voice was heard from all directions. “If you fail, your spirit will die and you won’t ever get reincarnated again. Even the soul of Ye Xiu will die with you forever…”

“Who are you!” The old man suddenly became angry. “If you dare touch Ye Xiu, I will kill you!!!”

“Hahahaha…. kill me…. hahaha very funny. I am Alpha and Omega!!! I am Your Creator, Your One and Only God!”

The old man was perplexed by the response and doubtfully asked, “God?”

“Human! Do you know the Ten Commands?”

“No, what is it?”

“Listen to these commands and put them in your heart. First command, ‘I am your God! Listen to Me and never doubt Me!’” said the voice ringing awesomely to all directions on the space.

The old man’s brows furrowed. That didn’t answer his doubt at all. “And what about the second command?”

“Second command; If you ever doubt God, please look at the First command!”

The old man felt something was amiss here and doubtfully asked again, “And the third one?”

“Third command; If you ever doubt, and doubt again about God please refer to second command!”

“…”

“Forth command; If you ever doubt, doubt and doubt again about God please refer to third…”

“Alright I got it! The next command till the last command will be more ‘doubt’ and ‘refer to’, right?”

“Wrong! You arrogant guy! The tenth command is different!”

“So, what is it?”

“The tenth command: No matter how much you are doubting God and keep doubting over and over again, even if you have no faith in God, God will never stop believing you and loving you!”

The old man was dumbfounded and doubtfully asked again. “Do YOU love me? God…?”

“Yes, but since you doubted me again, you must be punished! Your mission will be made harder! In 100 years you have to conquer one thousand beauties.”

“Conquer?” He didn’t really get the meaning of conquer.

“In the countries far far away… there are a lot of deserted lands and forests… and in the middle of these deserted places, there are a lot of lonely dungeons.”

“Conquer a dungeon? Or beauties?” The old man scratched his head.

“Do you know the toughest dungeon that God ever created?”

“What is it God?”

“A woman’s heart!”

“…”

“Some of them may be easy to conquer but some stubbornly locked their hearts in cold and god-killing dungeons. It is your job to conquer their heart’s dungeon, open their locked hearts, make them feel your warmth. Let them know the greatest things about love. Make them feel the joy of life in happiness and above all, make them love ME and have faith in ME!”

“Okay I got it: make them love me and have faith in me…”

A long silence before a thundering roar was heard. “Not you! But in Me…”

“I got it, God. Make 1000 beauties open their heart to me, not You but me!”

“You! Ignorant human, I have enough of you! If you can’t finish these two missions in 100 years, hmmm… never think about meeting Ye Xiu again!”

“You dare…”

Suddenly darkness came and engulfed everything.
