When we arrived in the auditorium there were already many students in there, gathered in their own little groups, most were crying, some were having panic attacks and other students were forced to help, while the various club leaders were gathered up on stage and were huddling in a circle, discussing what to do.
Nobody paid attention to me and Guiren who slowly walked through the crowd and up to the stage. Looking at the group huddled on the stage, I noticed that the school president was not here, leaving me wondering if she was still alive.
Going up the stairs onto the stage, the first to notice me was the kendo club president, “It’s great that you’re alright Biyu. Currently we’re discussing about a student who left the school and went exploring into the forest, without our go ahead,” said the kendo club president while dragging Biyu over to the group.
“The student’s name is Ping Hai. We’re currently discussing what kind of punishment is going to happen to him when he gets back,” he added with a completely calm face.
“Punish him? Why punish him? He helped out greatly by killing tons of those little monsters out in the courtyard and even got injured in the process, then you say he goes out and is exploring, he should be rewarded not punished,” I said with an annoyed and grateful voice.
“That doesn’t matter, it wasn’t us who allowed him out of the classroom to fight those things, nor did we allow him to leave the school. Since he didn’t ask us first that obviously means he undermines our authority and he should be punished for that,” said the boxing president.
“Are you all literally retarded? How about all the other students that ran out of their classrooms to get away from the monsters, but other than that, we should be discussing how any of this happened and how we’re going to survive!” I said in an angry voice.
“Well obviously our parents are going to come rescue us, so why should we even bother? Everybody in this school has rich parents, so obviously we will be saved quickly,” said the math club president
“Yea, so we’re correct with discussing how we are going to punish this student when he comes back,” said the art club president.
“HOW RETARDED ARE YOU ALL!?” I screamed, letting everyone in the auditorium hear.
“THOSE MONSTERS THAT ATTACKED US ARE OBVIOUSLY NOT ON EARTH, SO WE HAVE SOMEHOW HAVE EXPERIENCED A TIME SPACE PHENOMENON AND ENDED UP ON ANOTHER PLANET, SO THERE IS NO POSSIBLE WAY THAT OUR PARENTS WILL BE ABLE TO SAVE US!” I screamed once more in an attempt to get the point across to the thick headed students.
After I screamed nobody spoke, and instead everyone in the auditorium just stared at me for a moment, before they all burst out laughing.
“Hahah, we’re on another planet? That’s not possible! Hahah… calm down Biyu. You’re just panicked from being attacked. Just wait till your parents come; we will tell them to get you a therapist,” said the boxing club president, unable to contain his laughter whilst speaking.
After he said that, I was dumbfounded and just stood there wondering how exactly everyone in this school could be so stupid. Our school is the best in the country and all the students end up with amazing scores during the tests at the end of the year.
But I guess that even though they are mentally smart, they are not street smart and are too privileged to believe that they could be in any danger at any time. They were acting like they were privileged and that none of this would affect them.
“Then how do you explain that halfway on the walk over here, somehow a transparent screen appeared in front of me and told me that we’re on a different world and that I was now level one?” yelled Guiren, instantly stopping all of the laughter.
“From what I can see, we are on a different world and this world goes by a different set of rules than ours, letting us gain strength by killing monsters. Because along with that level up screen another screen popped up with my status, such as health, strength, dexterity and more,” Guiren continued to yell.
“And below that was a screen allowing me to choose a skill, and when I did, a flood of information forced itself into my head, and I instantly knew how to activate it along with knowing what it would do,”he yelled once more, completely shattering the idea that they were still on earth.
“Maybe those monsters appearing made your head a little loopy. You should go to the nurse’s office and get checked out,” said the wrestling club president, but after saying that he was instantly contradicted by another student.
“No, that appeared for me as well,” said one student.
“Same for me” said another.
“Same thing happened to me as well,” said one more, and quickly the people that fought the monsters quickly said that the same thing happened to them, completely crushing what the wrestling president said.
“All right, all right, but so what if that appeared, we could just be on an uninhabited part of the earth, so all we have to do is wait for our parents to come then they will explain what’s going on,” said the kendo club president.
“Did any of you even look outside? Did you not see those enormous trees that stretch far into the sky?” I yelled, getting angrier and angrier.
“You know there are many mysteries on earth yet to be uncovered,” said the kendo club president.
“JUST HOW FUCKING RETARDED ARE YOU ALL? DO YOU SERIOUSLY FUCKING BELIEVE THAT WE ARE GOING TO BE SAVED? OUR ENTIRE SCHOOL WAS SUDDENLY MOVED TO A FAR AWAY LOCATION, THEN WE LOOK OUTSIDE AND THERE ARE TREES STRETCHING INTO THE SKY, AND THEN THE NEXT THING WE KNOW IS THAT WE’RE ATTACKED BY MONSTERS. DO YOU SERIOUSLY BELIEVE YOUR PARENTS CAN FUCKING SAVE YOU?!” I yelled, unable to control myself due to how stupid they were acting.
Everybody was silenced, nobody spoke a word after I burst, they were all just standing and looking at me as if I was an unknown entity, “It’s alright Biyu, you can calm down now.” Guiren walked over and put his arms around me, allowing my anger to simmer down by a lot.
“Well then Biyu, if we are on another world what do you suggest we do?” Asked the boxing club president in a sarcastic voice.
“We should send some people out into the forest to explore our surroundings,” I said in a serious manner, hoping that they just won’t blow me off again.
“We should also get some people who know about video games to figure out what is going on. Because once, I was speaking with my childhood friend and he briefly explained what RPG’s are, but I don’t remember much so we should get somebody who plays video games to come help us,” Guiren said while still holding his arms around me.
“Yes, we should do that as well, do any of you play video games?” I asked towards the group of presidents who were just standing waiting for me to speak.
“Of course not. Academic studies are much more important than boring video games,” said the math club president in a slightly disgusted voice.
“Right, who actually plays video games?”
Everyone said the same thing that nobody here plays games and only thinks of it as a waste of time.
“Guiren, can you go get your friend and have him explain RPG’s to us?” I asked towards Guiren breaking away from his grasp.
“Sorry prez, he doesn’t go to this school,” Guiren said in a slightly sad voice.
“That’s alright. Just find somebody who does, and in the meantime, send a group of people out to go explore the surroundings,” I turned around and said towards the group of presidents.
“Fine.” “Whatever,” were the annoyed replies, clearly intending that they didn’t care for me sending out people into the forest, which to them seemed as if I was trying to be better than themselves.
