The First Hunter Chapter 49

Hello readers! Finals are coming to a close, so I had a bit of time to finish this over the weekend! I just want to say how grateful I am about how understanding all of you have been! I don’t know how many of you are aware of this, but Celly has been faced with a an unfortunate 2017, so she has been on a bit of break. If you guys have followed any of the novels she has translated, you would know how fast she is, oftentimes putting out multiple chapters a day, so thank you all for being understanding of my hiatus and her’s as well.

Chapters on my end should start picking up again once finals are finished for sure. So with that in mind, thank you all, and I hope you enjoy chapter 49!

I think it’s good idea for you to join wuxiaworld. Since your earning will increase from the advertisement instead of whaat you’re doing right now, relying solely on patreon and donation

There are a few problems with that, and even if I wanted to, I wouldn’t be able to, and I would be more than happy to explain.

Firstly, it’s actually quite difficult to join WW. Of the Korean Translators currently a part of WW, Turtle has been in the game for a long time, Ensj is a reputable and very good translator, and Otter is also a reputable translator. My level of proficiency in the Korean language is fairly mediocre, and not only would I be unable to put out a chapter a day, the quality of my translations wouldn’t be up to par either. For example, if Turtle, Ensj, and Otter were a 9 out of 10, then I would place myself at around 5+/6- out of 10. WW prides itself on its accurate translation, and quite honestly, it’s good that they promote such a high level of quality for any of their projects. Also, once school starts for me again, there would be no way that I’d be able to keep up with a decent release schedule again.

Lastly, I somewhat like it here. I’ve put a lot of work into my own works and have invested into the website a fair bit, so I would hate to leave it when it’s going through a rough patch.

I believe that things will work out 😛
